While a
battery with shorted cells is beyond repair,
a normally useless sulfated battery can be "radiantly" charged
back to near new condition. Conventional chargers cannot
penetrate heavily sulfated layers that result from conventional
charging and discharging cycles, and from letting a battery sit
unused. When enough sulfation builds up, people assume the
unchargeable battery can only be
discarded.
This chart
shows two new 12 volt batteries being charged and discharged
for 35 cycles using the Renaissance Battery Charger (blue) and
a leading brand of battery charger (red). After 35 cycles
the battery being charged with the Renaissance Battery Charger
demonstrated 75% more useful energy compared to the other
battery.

I am very impressed with the charger! I had a 1,165
cranking amp excavator battery that wouldn't even
hold a charge for a few hours. After charging for
24 hours, I connected it to my Sun Danzer
refrigerator. It has been running 3 days and the
voltage is still 12.5!
